5 If Marie Sharp and Blair had a one night stand

Sorry to give it such a dirty headline, but really, this is Blair's Death Sauce in the vein of Belizean hot sauce like Marie Sharp's. Exquisitely tasty and spicy, and has a nice chunky texture to it as well. My favorite of Blair's Death Sauce, by far.

With a name like Pure Death Hot Sauce with Jolokia, you would think that this sauce would have a good amount of heat, not so. The heat was fair to medium. Don't get me wrong, the flavor and taste were awesome, but if you are going to put "pure death" in your name, give it some kick. All in all a great tasting sauce though.

There is a great flavor to this one. The dominant flavor is habaneros. I can also taste the bhut jolokia, which gives this sauce a little bit extra kick, and there is a bit of a salty flavor, but it's not overpowering. Chileheads like myself will find this sauce mild enough where they can just pour it on and enjoy the great flavor. But this sauce is not so hot that novices could not enjoy it in much smaller amounts as well. This was the first gourmet hot sauce I have ever tried, and I was quite surprised at what a great flavor a hot sauce could have.
