CaJohn's Trinidad Scorpion Hot Sauce

A great sauce for those that like it hot! One or two drops will satisfy most folks. For my taste five or six drops hits the spot. Careful! More than that and you are treading on dangerous ground. Not just hot, but flavorful too, with lots of that Caribbean flavor.

I like hot sauces but I can't take the extreme hot ones. This is perfect to me! I could feel the heat but didn't last very long. Also, it tastes really good!!!

I just opened my first bottle of this tonight. I tried a capful plain, and then ran a solid line down my burrito. I would not say this is an extreme heat hot sauce, it's maybe half as hot as Dave's Original Insanity, or about 80% as hot as Melinda's Naga Jolokia. It's hot enough to give kick to chili, salsa, or wing sauce, but chileheads will like to slather their meat or burrito with this as well. I have tried many different hot sauces, and this one is easily among my top 3 hot sauces ever. The scorpion isn't even my favorite pepper in terms of flavor profile, but CaJohns has done a fantastic job of blending the flavors of the scorpion pepper with vinegar and lemon with a hint of onion and garlic. To summarize, if you want the hottest thing out there, this is not it. But if you want a really exceptionally great tasting hot sauce with a good kick to it, CaJohn's Trinidad Moruga Scorpion Hot Sauce gets my strongest recommendation.

Purchased a few months ago, have used on wings mixed with a wing sauce to give extra kick, I've also used this in soups and in cqanning some hot peppers. very good tasting and very very hot.
